How to play Club Link
Connect two footballers through validated senior-club overlaps in the frozen daily graph. International-team teammates never count.
Read the two endpoints
Every daily challenge gives you a starting player and a destination. Your route begins with the first name and ends only when you reach the second in that day’s frozen graph.
Add one teammate
Search for a player who shared the same senior club with the current player during a reviewed overlap. International teams do not create Club Link edges.
Measure your route with xG
xG is the minimum validated teammate-edge path in the frozen daily graph, not Expected Goals. Finish in that number for xG, or xG + 1, xG + 2 and beyond.
What counts as a valid connection?
Only a shared senior club counts: both players must have overlapped for at least two calendar days inside the reviewed coverage. National-team teammates never count, even when they played together internationally. A rejected proposal is rejected only for this game graph, not all football history.
Can I try again?
Guests and signed-in visitors can replay the same puzzle, but only a signed-in visitor keeps a durable best: the shortest completed route, recorded as xG + X. Solutions stay hidden until you reach xG; after sign-in and revalidation, up to three frozen paths may be shown.
